I hope everything is well with you and that your 2016 so far has been amazing ;)
Here is a first treat from one of my projects for this year, called Arctic Love. This excerpt is from a novel I am working on and is part of the first chapter called (so far) Promised the Moon. Enjoy!
"No sooner had I said that, than a dark claw emerged out of nowhere and pierced right through my chest, pushing all through it, but not before embracing my scared heart with its burning razor sharp fingers and pulling it right out of me. My heartless body fell to the cold ground and with it all my hopes and dreams of immortality and longing for that sweet tune of love. I did not move, not for a long time. I just stared into the black night and thought and felt absolute nothing. It was as if nothing could evoke any form of reaction from me. My heart had been ripped out of me and with it, all that I had been, leaving nothing but an empty carcass behind. I was not dead and still, I was not feeling much alive either.
The novel will contain 7 chapters. It is a twin project to another part from Arctic Love, where I will be creating 7 paintings that will go along with this story.
